Rubies, a variety of the mineral corundum, are celebrated for their fiery red hues, ranging from vivid red to deep, pinkish, or purplish-red, largely driven by chromium content, however, many people are unaware that like sapphires they come in many colours with different parts of the world prizing different varieties. Primarily, spiritually, rubies symbolise passionate love, power, nobility and vitality.
